Christie Ayotte Baer joined the law firm of Kitchens New Cleghorn, LLC as Of Counsel in December of 2016. She is an experienced family law and estate planning attorney who began her legal career at Kitchens New Cleghorn as a paralegal in 2005, then went on to manage her own practice for several years before re-joining KNC.
Ms. Baer specializes in adoptions, divorces, LGBT issues, and contempt and child support claims. She is a trained guardian ad litem with experience in both superior and juvenile court and a former mediator. She also has assisted several small businesses with transactional and litigation issues.
Ms. Baer’s pre-law experience includes more than a decade of political organizing and policy work. She is the past president of the Hotlanta Squares (an LGBT square dancing group), and a former board member of Georgia Equality and the Stonewall Bar Association.
