Ryan joined the law firm of Kitchens New Cleghorn, LLC as Of Counsel in January of 2018. He is an experienced attorney who focuses primarily on plaintiff employment discrimination and retaliation matters. Ryan also has experience with non-competition agreements, and social security disability benefits.
Prior to joining KNC, Ryan worked as a labor & employment associate attorney for Seyfarth Shaw LLP where he focused on advising and defending businesses on employment matters.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ryan graduated from Georgia State University College of Law where he was Vice President of Appellate Advocacy for Moot Court. He was also an Associate Research Editor with Law Review and a member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. Ryan also interned at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society in the Senior Citizens Law Project. He was also a law student intern with the GSU HeLP Legal Services Clinic, and successfully won social security disability benefits for several clients.
Ryan’s primary focus is on helping employees who have been subject to illegal discrimination or retaliation in the workplace. These situations can be very personal and cause severe disruptions to an employee’s life, and Ryan’s approach is always one of compassion and understanding. Having previously been an employment defense attorney, Ryan has valuable insight into the way employers view and approach employment discrimination cases, and can utilize that knowledge to better serve wronged employees.
